About

Compton Martin Village Hall is a unique venue, available for community and private events in the Chew Valley, close to Bristol. The Village Hall also provides a social hub for our village and is used regularly by local societies and organisations.

The hall accommodates up to 100 people, and rental includes ample parking, a stage area, a catering-standard kitchen and access to a field with views over rolling countryside and lakes.

The building was erected in 1927 by a local family in memory of their son who died in the First World War. The Village Hall has been extended and improved over recent years without losing its traditional charm, and a collaboration with the Parish Council has enabled the purchase the field adjacent to this building to be used as an amenity field for the village.

Compton Martin Village Hall is a charity, which is run by a committee of volunteers who manage bookings, the upkeep of the building and fundraising for improvements.
